Update 21/02/2017 What's been going on at AdminAnywhere?
2017 got off to a very busy start for AdminAnywhere: continued support with my regular clients, extra committments, new prospects and a welcome return.
January: Extra Committments
A client in the business of procurement who I've been supporting for just over a year was ready for to move forward with another task for me to handle: a new newsletter.
It all started with this client back in Oct 2015 when I was referred to him to assist in organising his business contacts. From the initial gathering together of contacts from business cards, emails, Linkedin etc, we'd worked together during 2016 to set up a formal CRM system using ZOHO. Like any CRM, setting it up and uploading the exisiting contact data is only the beginning; so I continue to provide regular support to keep his new business lifeline up-to-date by adding new business leads (from contacts he meets) and updating the automatically created records from the email integration.
He'd just invested in a new website and videos, which all went live in January, so to coincide with the the new website I'm now looking after his monthly newsletter.
If you're interested in procurement and getting a better deal on your supplies and services give me a call and I'll put you in touch with Jonny.
February: A welcome return
I support a local Health & Safety training company on an adhoc basis, assisting with the document management of their records. There are lots of paper records to handle for this business, so getting the data inputted and documentation scanned is one way of saving filing space. It's been a while since I've done any work for them, but out of the blue came Simon's email: Can I help? Well of course I could. First box of records organised, and heading off to collect the second box later today.
Work also continues typing up a manuscript for a local writer, we're getting close to completion, and on the search for a publisher. It's strange really, you'd think that typing would be regular work for a VA, but other than inputting business cards and other general data, getting a proper typing job is very rare for for me, so I have really been enjoying doing this one.
Eleanor has training courses coming up in March so it's been very busy looking after all her course advertising and administration; with all the final precourse admin to handle later this week, we're all set for her events over the next couple of weeks.
So looking forward to March: Could be something new and it's Expo time too!
As well as all the work I continue to do for my existing clients, I have a new exciting prospect on the horizon, with possible on-site support starting in March.
I'll be exhibiting at the Big Bolton Expo on Tuesday 28th March. This is organised by the wonderful Best of Bolton team and I wholehearted recommend attending.
